hi,

I get this error from rrdutil (1.78) after upgrade

/usr/local/www/cgi-bin/rrdutil.cgi -a update
UpdateMysqlSNMP: ERROR: No response from remote host 'localhost'.

ERROR: couldn't find oid for /!

snmpwalk works fine from same machine..

Make sure the snmp community/password is the same in rrdutil.conf and snmpd.conf.

maybe I'm to tired and shoul wear some glases ...

I cant find the snmp community in /usr/local/etc/rrdutil.conf

snmpd.conf is located in 2 places

/usr/local/share/snmp/snmpd.conf (this one is the one Very Happy)
/var/net-snmp/snmpd.conf (this one is not the one)

Neither could I
auth1     = localhost, snmp,      2,          monitoring

As emphasized in this comment:
